The Coal City Volunteer Fire Department (CCVFD) is a volunteer based organization comprised of over 20 volunteers protecting an area which spans over 37 square miles.
We provide fire protection services for over 1,900 citizens living in the unincorporated area of Coal City and the small unincorporated towns of Abney, Eperly, Farley Hill, Fireco, Jonben, Lillybrook, Mitchell’s Ridge, Pemberton, Pickshin, Princewick, Sullivan, Whitby, Wilabet, and Winding Gulf .
